Anothe local race 65 km in a very fast track with everything for a perfect ride, hard climbs, tecnical parts and single tracks.  I am writing to report another marathon mountain bike this time in the Tower of Coelheiros. This race took place without major problems, with the participation of many athletes. The course consisted of various types of terrain, rises from difficult areas such as walkways and lots of fun single tracks and technicians. The beginning has to 09h00 and the start was something hard with a constant rise and fall followed by a rolling area that anticipated a tough climb, passing the Outeiro. Supplies equipped with enough fruit and cakes, besides the waters.

The race did not went smoothly but since I am already at the end of the season can not wait much longer. Ja I’m in the gym preparing for next season is expected tough, next week I stopped my last marathon, this time in Portel, over 65 km of pure emotion and some mud and rain hope.

More and more in love with my Cannondale Scalpel, which has demonstrated perfect for all types of spot how, and that the front suspension is a real delight, lightness, strength and softness are the weapons of this wonder.

The Festibike 2009, 09h00 AM, and 2500 estusiastics bikers start one of the most popular marathon in Portugal, a very competitive race because, many cyclists from the road came ear to end their season on Santarém to finish the year on this event.

A very nice and dificult track, 92 Km 1800 + ascendent climbing, mud, water,sand mixing with Cannondale scalpel and the final resault is…

Avery fun and at the same time hard ride.

The weapons for Goodfighters for 2010, the colors, the tecnicals inovations, the weigth, makes the Cannondale bikes the “Most Wanted ” for the next season.

Here me and Sr. IgnacioGimenz Garcia , the brand manager for Cannondale Portugal and Spain, with the beutifulls Scalpel and the new Flash on ouerside.

With Sergio Paulinho, the professional Cyclist, ex Astana and future Radioshack, one of the most inportant Portuguese cyclist of the actuality.

A very nice day to ride, not too cold by the morning, and not too hot at the end of the race

the firsts Km was very tecnicals and hard trails, with a lot of singles tracks and rock parts.

this race was a very good test for the Festibike Marathon race on next weekend,

Hello, another local race, this time +/- 50 Km,500 Ascending , a very fast track without many dificults. Many people ask me about de security of Lefty suspension, and i allways tell them the trough, is probably the best fork ever made, very sensitive and at the same time very strong.

At this race i didn’t push it at the limits i’m still recovering at the last weekend race, and i’m preparing the Festibike Marathon at Santarem 24 OUT09. The big bike event of Portugal couting with the presence of the best Bikers and a Expobike with the best news for 2010, i expect to be at Cannondale Stand to take a picture with Sr. Ignácio Garcia Gimenez the brand manager for Spain and Portugal, and all so with Sr. Nuno Gil from the local store Biciaventura- Estremoz-Èvora -Portugal.

Remenber Festibike 24Out2009, is my next race, until there i will training for that race 83 Km 1750 Ascending acumulate, will be a “GOOD FIGTH”, for shore.

As i promisse i’m report the maraton in my local town, as you can see i dress my team apareal, because the sponsors are very important for all the seson.

54 Km, with +/- 850 ALT. Climb, single tracks, tecnical parts and 32ºc.

A day to remenber, or not, i past out at 16 Km, a strong stomac pain put me away of my objectives, i expect a litle bit more than a 40 place but the most important is never give up, so i make my race sufering until the end, but that’s me, never give up, no mather the dificults i have to face.

 07:00 AM i drive from Évora to Reguengos de Monsaraz, 40km distant from my local town, the rain makes is apereance early in the morning and put the dust away, but the temperature was high, and i was ready for my first “Competition” on the Cannondale Scalpel

 has you can see it was a very easy ride if you look by the distance and ascendent acumulate, but i rid it on my way, the hard way as you can see by the pulse graphics(the redline), not bad, after 2 months without competition.

About the bike i can tell it’s amazing, the front suspension works very well she read the soil the same way as a blind person read braille, always in contact absorving all the shoks. Climbing or descending the bike is very confortable and secure.

Next ride, Tomorrow for Training…don’t forguet you will be remenber for wat you was, not for wat you dream to be, so be happy, have friends and fun.

This is my first post on the Goodfigthers Blog, i hope i can whrite again with a new opinion about this amazin machine, the first impression is very good,but i didn´t ride many Km yet, next time i espect to be ablle to discribe all my ride.

My next competition is 26 September on my local City, Évora i will ride 85 km with this new “Belle” machine. I would like to thanks to my local store BICIAVENTURA, in Estremoz, and to Nuno Gil the local dealer for the way he allways treat is clients, best regards Nuno Rainha.
