et oui , mon père voulait s’acheter un VTT , il a donc fait comme moi , même marque , même magasin Xtrem cycles , mais là il s’agit d’un Trail SL3
en ce moment je me prépare ( pas évident avec les conditions neiges et verglas) pour les premières courses de la saison en catégorie cadet.
Tout d’abord ce sera Villers les Nancy, et puis une grande première pour moi , la manche de coupe de France de St Raphael.

Endlich weg von Kälte und Schnee und erste Ausfahrt in Good Fighter Wäsche auf Lanzarote. Zwar blieb Flashi zu Hause (kam am Tag vor der Abreise) - aber die 2 Wochen XTERRA Training hier durch Sand und schwarze Lava sind eh der totale Materialverschleiss

Endlich ist es soweit - das nagelneue Cannondale Flah Carbon HI-MOD 1 ist da und heute gab es die feierliche Übergabe bei CICLOPIA. Großen Dank an Cannondale für die Aufnahme ins Good Fighter Programm … jetzt gibts bei den Rennen halt keine Ausreden mehr

Took part in the Milton Keynes Half Marathon at the weekend, part of my run training but also as a build up to the London Marathon.
Time 1:21:22 51st out of 3244 finishers and 5th in age group. Very pleased with this and for a triathlete with limited run time against dedicated runners its a great result

Well, my Flash and Scalpel have been with me for a couple of months now and I have to say I am over the moon. They are the best bikes I have ever ridden!
Winter base training has gone well with significant improvements in my biking and in particular my run times.
Really looking forward to the start on the Xterra season on April 3rd in Portugal, not long now and I will update with news and results here.

Première compétition avec le FLASH (encore en rodage), qui plus est, avec un circuit fait de single-track, où il fallait sans cesse relancer, néanmoins, très bien techniquement et physiquement.
résultats : vainqueur en master 2 et 3

Le dimanche dernier le team OCR était présent sur la première manche du championnat régional de VTT à Tanneron, les couleurs de l’équipe ont brillé. 1 victoire en cadet, une 3ème place pour ma chérie, une première et deuxième place en master 2 et enfin une 3ème place en Sénior et ma victoire en Sénior.
Comme pour toutes les premières courses de l’année, on ne sait pas trop où on en est question forme… Mais côté préparation, je n’avais pas de crainte car j’ai fait tout ce qu’il fallait durant l’hiver. Me voilà rassuré.
Après un départ difficile et un tempo très soutenue donné par Julien Plumer de Monaco, j’ai pu péniblement m’accrocher à lui pour entamer mon deuxième tour avec quelques secondes d’avances sur lui, ce second tour fut pour moi le meilleur car j’ai su creuser l’écart : j’entame mon troisième tour avec prés de 3 minutes d’avances. Ces sur les 9 derniers kilomètres que j’ai vu quelques crampes apparaître et Julien revenir, et oui… J’étais poursuivi par un autre Flash. Mais la ligne d’arrivée arrivant rapidement j’ai enfin pu la franchir en première position avec un peu moins d’une minute d’avance. Je sais maintenant ce qu’il me reste à travailler.
Bilan trés satisfaisant. Un vélo incroyable confortable en descente grace à la Lefty, rigide comme mon route dans les parties roulantes grace à ce cadre exceptionnel et ce blocage rapide et surtout trés léger (9kg) ce qui me change par rapport à mes précedentes montures qui faisaient plus d’un kilo de plus.
Efforts à poursuivre…
